Product Description
James Suckling ReviewRated 92
Aromas of ripe blackberries, cassis, roasted hazelnuts, cedar, graphite and bark. Full-bodied with grainy, chewy tannins around a core of ripe dark berries. Structured and long. Better after 2025.
Wine Tasting Notes
Alexander Valley Vineyards Wetzel Family Estate Alexander Cabernet possesses a refined quality, showcasing earthy scents of cassis, plum, cherry, vanilla, oak, and a subtle hint of chocolate. Within the glass, one can indulge in the rich flavors of cherry, cassis, blackberry, and chocolate. The 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon exhibits a well-built structure with sturdy tannins and a satisfyingly chewy finish that develops with every sip. Although it displays a fruit-forward nature upon opening, this wine will truly gratify those who possess the patience to age a few bottles.
