This Ammunition Sonoma Pinot Noir is an artful blend of two world-class sub-appellations in Sonoma County: Carneros and the Russian River Valley.
Ripe black cherry framed by a subtle oakiness dominate the aromas of this medium-to-full bodied Pinot Noir. Earthy cherry and strawberry flavors with subtle oak tones of vanilla spice that are embraced by smooth, silky tannins. Wonderfully versatile for pairing, we have particularly enjoyed this wine with pork tenderloin, mushroom risotto, ribs, aged cheese, venison and an afternoon BLT.
