Due east of Napa, tucked away in northern California's rolling Dunnigan Hills, is a little town called Zamora. But back in the late 1800's, folks around here used to call it Black's Station. At its height, this hub founded by J.J. Black boasted a hotel, two stores, a jail, blacksmith shops and a town hall. Today we grow our grapes in Zamora. We like to think that they carry with them the character and frontier-style of that old town.
Wine Tasting Notes
Vibrant fruit characters that explode from the glass are backed by hints of tobacco and chocolate aromas. The Black's Station Cabernet Sauvignon shows lovely flavors of blackberry, boysenberry, cassis and mocha. This classic Cabernet is elegant and smooth with a rich finish of sweet oak and cocoa.
Pair this easy drinking red with a big juicy burger, barbequed tri-tip or a pasta Bolognese.
