Product Description
Wine Spectator ReviewRated 93
An aromatic thread of toast, licorice, vanilla and Mediterranean macchia winds through generous flavors of plum sauce and blackberry paste. Full-bodied but fresh and well-structured, this red is firmed by chalky, integrated tannins that sculpt the long, lasting finish. Monastrell, Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. Drink now through 2031.
Wine Tasting Notes
Bodegas Juan Gil Blue Label Jumilla Red Blend shows intense cherry red with garnet sparkles in the glass, and intense aromas including highlights of black fruit over roasted notes and a lightly balsamic and spicy base. Fine and aromatic on the palate. Light, unctuous and very flavorsome, sensation of black fruits that harmonize with fine roasted touches. Round tannins and good acidity. Structured and very elegant. The wine will evolve over 2-3 years and drink well for many thereafter.
