Wine Advocate ReviewRated 93
The 2015 Chardonnay Chamise opens with gorgeous lemon curd, honey-drizzled white peach and grapefruit notes with touches of toasted almonds, beeswax and brioche. Light to medium-bodied, with a lively backbone of acid lifting the citrus and savory flavors, it has a lovely creamy suggestion and great length. Drink now-2023.

Brilliant yellow. Expansive tropical and orchard fruit aromas, along with suggestions of candied orange, honey and vanilla. In a lush, almost decadent style, offering broad nectarine, poached pear and mango flavors that are kept in check on the back half by building, juicy acidity. Closes smooth and very long, with a repeating vanilla note and lingering smokiness. (Josh Raynolds)

This is the pioneering winery's annual take on the fatter California style of Chardonnay, starting with a fat nose of buttery baked apples, seared white peach, pillowy meringue and pear-laced pastry crust. Cinnamon-laced apple pie and buttered toast show on the palate, but there's an underlying citrus freshness that keeps it lively.
Wine Tasting Notes
Classically varietal. Intensely aromatic. Baked granny smith apple, citrus crème brulee. Opulent oak toast notes. Defined acidity, hints of vanilla and butterscotch. Focused and lengthy.
