Cherry blossom, rose petal and freshly dug beetroot mingle into notes of raspberry preserves and Maraschino cherries in this perfumed blend of grapes from six plots within the walled Clos Marey-Monge monopole vineyard. A powerful but vibrantly cut expression of Pommard, it's packed with luscious red fruit lifted by streaks of redcurrant acidity and firm, fine-grained tannins. There's a lot of aging potential in this wine but it's also lovely in youth.
