EDITORS CHOICE
Aromas of stone and rose lead to a rich, unctuous midpalate of wild strawberry, tangerine and Meyer lemon in this persistently bright blend of Pinot Noir (60%) and Chardonnay (40%). Elegant and lively, it offers complexity within an inviting, approachable context of tremendous likability.
Wine Tasting Notes
The wine's aroma, delivered on a delicate mousse, hints of strawberry, tangerine, orange blossom, marmalade, and potpourri. The palate of Domaine Carneros by Taittinger Cuvee de la Pompadour Brut Rose displays peach, apricot, watermelon and a touch of underlining honey for a soft, delicate mouthfeel and a smooth, long finish. Despite its color, it is a true Brut - as dry as our other wines.

Excellent Brut Rose
Easily the equal of a Paul Goerg Brut Rose or a Mailly Grand Cru Brut Rose at half the price. I used to enjoy the Domaine Carneros Brut, but over the years it became too heavy bodied. This sparkling rose has a perfect "weight" for a rose. Not too heavy, yet just enough body for a great mouth feel. It is not sweet, and the finish has not even a hint of bitterness. Great wine, great value.
