The 2014 Brut Rose is fresh, fruity and lively, all of which make it a fine choice for drinking now and over the next handful of years. The 2014 is all charm, not to mention easily one of the best sparkling wines in the United States. The bright, vibrant style is quite refreshing. Drinking Window 2021-2026. Wine Tasting Notes
Crafted in the Methode Champenoise style, the 2014 Richard G. Peterson Napa Brut Rose is produced from 100% estate grown Pinot Noir from our two-acre parcel in Yountville, Napa Valley. This Methode Champenoise was aged for 6 years on the yeast, en tirage, prior to disgorging. The nose impression is mostly pear and apple-like, but the aftertaste is raspberry with a little strawberry. Excellent acid balance, the aftertaste is clean, pleasant, and very satisfying. This sparkling wine will introduce almost any dinner in a pleasing manner. I think the vintage is one of our best vintages.
