Inviting chocolate, cinnamon and cedar fill the aroma of this full-bodied and moderately tannic wine before a generous dose of black cherries, mint and dark chocolate coat the palate. The wine is so tempting now for its complexity and richness. Best from 2025-2035.
St. Supery Estate Vineyards and Winery is a winery that is dedicated to producing the highest quality estate wines without compromise. We are proud to be a 100% Estate Grown and sustainably farmed winery. The name Elu, which means "chosen" or "elected" in French, was born out of the collaboration between our winemaker, Michael Scholz, and renowned winemaker, Michel Rolland. Together, they strive to create a red wine blend each year that perfectly embodies the essence of our two properties. St. Supery Elu Napa Red Wine is characterized by its remarkable density and yet, it maintains an undeniable charm. Its deep shades of reds and purples are truly captivating.
Wine Tasting Notes
Dark fruit aromas of blackberry and black plum meld with espresso, vanillin, and molasses, along with hints of smoky oak and dusty terroir. The palate reveals flavors of dark plum and cassis accompanied by anise and toasted barrel nuances. This St. Supery Elu Napa Red Wine showcases a finely textured silky structure with richness and an elegant charm.
