The flipside of the Seddon Single Vineyard, the TaylorÂ’s Pass was grown in a sheltered site on the northern bank of the Awatere, and provides quite a fascinating contrast - the plusher velvet to the SeddonÂ’s silk - while retaining the brightness and energy of the Awatere. Dark cherries, blackberry and damsons are layered over redder fruits, with green but not unripe herbal notes and dark chocolate. A concentrated core of fruit, sappy and slightly chewy tannins, plus good length. Drinking Window 2024-2030..
