The 2016 Extra-Brut Vigne de Pierry is also a fine success, exhibiting aromas of citrus oil, dried white flowers, fresh bread, praline and pear. Medium to full-bodied, it's fleshy but chiseled, with a generous attack that segues into a taut, incisive core, concluding with a saline finish. It's from a site rich in flinty chalk about Jean-Marc Seleque's holdings in lieu-dit Goutte d'Or. Drink 2021-2029.
